The lodge returns once more

1961

Thomas Jackson Howell, a retired cotton broker and Reagan Lodge member, died at his home at 1102 Harvard in April 1961. The lodge conducted Masonic graveside services at Glenwood Cemetery.

Twenty-six years after the foreclosure, the lodge was still burying its brothers out of the building it had built. Institutional memory rarely runs that long; here it did.
