Every Eastern Star chapter in Houston, at once

1934

In February 1934 Mrs. Alice Potter of Texarkana, worthy matron of the Grand Chapter of Texas, came to Houston, and eleven Eastern Star chapters, essentially every chapter in the city, converged on the temple at Eleventh and Harvard for the occasion. For one afternoon the Heights corner was the center of Eastern Star life for all of Houston.
