A one-year-old lodge takes up public ceremony
1912
Barely a year after its charter arrived, Reagan Lodge was already performing the most public of Masonic duties: officiating a cornerstone ceremony for a Baptist church in January 1912.
That November, when Houston’s old Masonic temple cornerstone was ceremonially transported to Waco, Judge W. H. Ward of Reagan Lodge traveled in the honor party. The young suburban lodge was part of Texas Masonry’s main current from the start.
